Rock 'n' Reel Magazine - Three Fires gets 4 Stars and Tour Updates

The March / April edition of R2 Magazine has awarded our album 'Three Fires' 4 stars in their review section. We also have one of our tracks on the covermount CD (Hooty Mullock).

We have all become real fans of this publication (before they were so nice to us - honestly!) As Sean McGhee the editor puts it 'We choose not to build or otherwise jump on board any bandwagon; we leave fad and fashion to those who care about such things... we have no agenda other than to share our enthusiasms and point you in the direction of music you might find of interest.' Our Three Fires Tour has exceeded our all our expectations and we have really enjoyed meeting up with old friends and meeting lots of new one's. We have two extra dates confirmed for June  (in Cheslyn Hay and All Stretton) which will be listed on the website when we have finalised vital information such as will there be a bar provided for refreshments... In the meantime, we've finished filming the footage for our next video (our version of Simon and Garfunkel's The Boxer) and are now at the editing stage. We had the idea of filming it in one of the stations on the Severn Valley Railway - partly because the lyrics refer to a railway station and partly because Eardington Station is very pretty with loads of beautiful (if somewhat huge and heavy) props. Here's a picture of the man from Whalebone who had just made himself laugh during filming...

It is a serious video... honestly.
