Folk at the Farm - what a great day!

What an amazing day last Saturday at the first Folk at the Farm festival at Acton Scott Museum! A fantastic showcase of artists, musicians, storytellers and craft people showcasing Shropshire and it’s rich folklore. Thanks to everyone who came along and helped make the day such a success :)

Folk at the Farm this Saturday! A festival whatever the weather!

Great features in The Cleobury Clarion and Bridgnorth Journal on the Folk at the farm Festival this Saturday at Acton Scott Museum - 10am - 7pm - it's a weather proof festival cause of the fantastic venue there's lots of indoor spaces, so if it does rain, it doesn't matter!

Come along and listen to storytellers, poets and musicians, take part in workshops, hear talks on Shropshire's trio of influential women folklorists Mary Webb, Charlotte Burne and Georgina Jackson, experience Shropshire's superstitions in the Caravan of Curiosities and loads more!

And, the farm is open too, so say 'hi' to the working horses, chickens, pigs, goats and farm animals galore 🐴🐥🐔🐷🐮🦃🐖🐓🐑

Last Flocks of Words this Friday

Lovely write up in this month's edition of The Cleobury Clarion outlining our last concert of Flocks of Words with the wonderful Kate Innes this coming Friday at Cound Church.

'That careful blending of words and music created a magic atmosphere that has the audience applauding enthusiastically as each number ended.'

Tickets are available from Ann Cooke 01952 510388 or Linda Clutterbuck 01743 761435. We hope to see you there!
