All Instrument Music Workshops at Wenlock Pottery in Shropshire

These workshops are aimed at players of all levels - previously we've had beginners through to quite accomplished players - and we aim to get everyone playing together throughout the day, learning tunes and discovering new ideas and techniques. We'll be covering music in a variety of styles, touching on folk, blues and the lighter end of rock, and discussing melody, accompaniment techniques and improvisation. You don't have to read music - most of the guitarists who come along don't! The aim is to have a fun but informative day working with each player's capabilities, supporting the beginners and stretching the more able. The cost is £70 per person, which includes all course materials and refreshments (tea and Muffins? on arrival, a hot meal at lunchtime and tea and cake in the afternoon.)

Notes on Parking - Just as a reminder, it's worth mentioning that although you can drop instruments off if you wish, there's no parking at the Pottery. There is however plenty of on street parking in Much Wenlock, and a large town carpark on St Mary's Road, just a few minutes walk away. Also note that the road the Pottery is on is called Sheinton Street on one end and Shineton Street the other! There's a map of Much Wenlock above.
